Deadly Kate[]
I just saw Bionic Showdown for the first time in ages and was actually surprised to see Kate Mason kill the bad guy at the end. As I remember it, after the first season or so of SMDM, once it was realized that Austin was becoming a hero to children, the instances of him killing people were scaled way back if not eliminated. (For example, compare Wine, Women and War or the ending of Population Zero, with, say, Love Song for Tanya which had its ending changed in Mike Jahn's novelization so Austin killed the villain, whereas he didn't in the episode itself). And I don't recall Jaime ever killing anyone. But the memory may cheat, so my question is whether I'm right in my recollection that the two moved towards non-deadly force for most of the series, which would make the ending of Bionic Showdown a worthy item to note in Trivia as I have done. 23skidoo 17:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
